About the wine
The grande dame of red Valais assemblages with a beguiling bouquet of fine roses. Just like his namesake Rosmarie Mathier, mother of Diego: A warm-hearted character with sparkling charm, proud appearance and dominance, which, interspersed with loving features, culminates in absolute harmony. She is regarded as the great ambassador for Valais and Swiss wines. Not least because of its popularity but also thanks to the continuous striving for the highest quality, her red Valais blend is on everyone's lips as a three-time Swiss champion, composed entirely of four different grape varieties.

Tasting note
Cabernet Sauvignon gives the Madame Rosmarie red cuvée excellent complexity and structure. Syrah is responsible for the fine peppery note, Merlot brings in with its spicy note, and Pinot Noir subtly rounds off the blend with its silky elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with all meat dishes.
Vinification
Deserted grapes, each variety of which is aged individually for 15 months in barriques. The assemblage is married after the original creation by Rosmarie Mathier. Even though Rosmarie is no longer in charge of this herself, she still has veto rights over her lifetime when it comes to her cuvée.
