Tasting note
Dark red. Oriental perfume on the nose, cloves, pepper, incense. On the palate, dark chocolate, black blackberries. An absolutely excellent Syrah made from the exquisite fruits of the oldest vines. A complex, exciting top wine that Christian Baillat aptly describes as “the finest of the finest, radiant as the sun and fresh as the deepest shadow.”
