About the wine
The nature of Eastern Switzerland can be described with such words as hilly. However, the Swiss winery Roland und Karin Lenz is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this white wine. We think he succeeded! With the provocative Sauvignon Blanc 2016 — Cuvée 1844 Blanc (ex. Iselisberger), nuances and accents are redefined. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Sauvignon Blanc is excellent to serve with goat cheese or fish.

Tasting note
A delightful combination that makes you want more on your nose: orange, bergamot and quince, caramel and vanilla, almond cream, elderflower and verbena. The aroma on the palate is very fruity with a touch of honey, supported by fresh, pleasant acidity and a subtle tartness reminiscent of thyme. An unusual but very successful cuvée!
