About the wine
Founded in 1988, the Pago de Carraovejas winery is located just in the heart of the top denomination Ribera del Duero, with a magnificent view of the imposing castle of Penafiel. The bodega is in a relationship with the legendary José Maria restaurant in Segovia, and the Spanish royal family is equally impressed by the wine and the food. There is little left for export, so enjoying Pago outside Spain is an exclusive pleasure. The privileged individual location of Cuesta de las Liebras is the crown of the winery's work as a fine selection. Belongs to Spain's absolute elite.

Die verspielten Aromen des Cuesta De Las Liebres Ribera Del Duero DO von schwarzer Kirsche, Schokolade und gekochter Brombeere drücken viel Komplexität mit einer ganz besonderen Struktur aus. Danach zeigen die verspielten Nuancen von Backpflaume, Gewürznelke und Marmelade ihren eigenen Charakter. Das bleibt im Gedächtnis: Sein sattes Rubinrot verleiht jedem Anlass eine besondere Note. Ein fruchtiger Rotwein mit kräftigem Körper und frischer Säure, welcher harmonisch mit fein ausgebauten Tanninen auf Zunge und im Gaumen seine lebendige Struktur entfaltet.
