Tasting note
Deep ruby red with typical purple tones. Intense bouquet with aromas of small, red fruits, ripe grapes and a pleasant touch of spices. Refreshing on the palate, very balanced, an elegant body with harmonious acidity, fine tannins and a spicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
This Barbera d'Asti goes great with pasta, risotto, roasts, cheese, salami and the traditional Piedmontese bagna cauda.
Vinification
18-day fermentation phase at low temperatures. The wine is aged for 14 months in medium-sized oak barrels (2500-4000 liters).
