About the wine
This provocative Merlot 2009 — Crosara Veneto IGT crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Enchanting and fertile landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Maculan conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Merlot is ideal to serve with slightly spicy red meat or poultry.
Tasting note
Crosara bewitches with its aroma of black berries, spices, coffee and chocolate. It has a balanced structure with elegant tannins and a long finish.

Vinification
After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barriques for about a year. The wine remains in the bottle for at least six months before being sold.
