The 2022 vintage is in no way inferior to its brilliant predecessor and perfectly combines the maturity, elegance and depth of the old vines. Due to the warm vintage, the scent is already seductive dark fruity and spicy, with black cherries, blueberries, dark violets, graphite, elegant roasted aromas and licorice coming into their own beautifully. Everything is underpinned by great freshness — delicious! Beautifully balanced and dense in the mouth, the tannins are fine-grained and provide juiciness and elegance despite the Douro power. Here too, blackberry, spicy and with Douro typical shale minerality. Sticks for a long time on the finish and ends on dark berries. A sensational Douro with strength and freshness, already a treat!
