Tasting note
The Croix Cardinale's fruity aromas of fruit compote, spices and tobacco express a lot of complexity with a very special structure. Afterwards, the striking nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper reveal their own character. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine presents its flawless quality.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect serving temperature for the red wine is slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Croix Cardinale goes well with ribeye steak, red meat and Gruyère burgers.
