The present Tempranillo 2008 — Coto de Imaz Rioja DOCa Reserva is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. Fertile and picturesque landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery El Coto de Rioja conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
Color: Dense brilliant ruby, purple shimmer, colortight Aromatics: Typical aromas of ripe, velvety plum notes, figs, dried fruit, citrus fruits, fine earthy nuance of undergrowth, distinctive growing notes, fine spiciness. Body: Very long start, tempting fruit sweetness, strong body, good tannins, fine, still present acidity, wonderfully aromatic in the aftertaste. Quality: Harmonious, full-bodied wine of great quality with potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Peking style lamb steak marinated in rice wine, hollow back steak with Provençal vegetables and fried potatoes
