Die Vinifikation fand wie folgt statt: Die kleine Ursprungsbezeichnung Côte-Rôtie ist liegt wenige Kilometer südlich von Vienne an der Rhône. Beeindruckend sind die Steilhänge, welche den Fluss dominieren, und wo Bernard Burgaud seinen charaktervollen Wein gewinnt. Er produziert einen der tiefsten und vielschichtigsten Côte-Rôtie. Seine Vinifikation bringt sehr viel Körper und Tannine, welche durch ausgedehnte Barrique-Lagerung abgerundet werden. Bernard Burgaud verzichtet auf Schönung und Filtration, um dem Wein ein Maximum an Tiefe und Dichte zu belassen.
