Tasting note
Dense purple. On the complex nose, sweet blackberries and prunes, accompanied by notes of gianduja and black cherries. An elegant start with a juicy, soft texture and intense black fruit, seductive chocolate sweetness, soft tannins and a solid structure. Lush yet pleasantly fresh, with impressive fruit print right down to the final blackberry finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled, spicy fish, boeuf bourguignon, coq au vin, semi-hard cheese or aged soft cheese. Also ideal with lamb in herb crust, gigot, ratatouille gratin, grilled sea bass, Provençale lasagna, lamb stew and pepper steak.
