About the wine

Bodegas Hermanos Peciña is located in the heart of Rioja Alta, more specifically in Sonsierra Riojana, where the winemaking tradition dates back several centuries, as can be seen from the numerous cave wine presses carved into the rock next to the vineyards. Founded in 1992 by Pedro Peciña Crespo and his 3 children. The microclimate and geographical location, which covers only about 40 square kilometers, gives the wines some essential characteristics. The north wind prevents pests and rot, the average light hours are 2800 hours/year and the rainfall is perfect at 500 liters per square meter per year. The bodega is one of the last really traditional bodegas in the region.
