About the wine
At Provins, the largest Swiss wine producer, over 4400 cooperative members deliver the income from the vineyards between Sierre and Lake Geneva. The company focuses on quality and produces a good 20 of today's 50 Valais grape varieties. Top oenologists Madeleine Gay and Luc Sermet and their team vinify the distinctive “Grand Métral” line and thus provide an uncomplicated drinking experience: The wines are fresh, fruity, rich and immediately accessible. Tasting note
“Old Landroter.” This wonderfully balanced wine flatters the nose with strong aromas of wild berries and sour cherries. Thanks to perfect ripeness, the palate is beautifully round, well-structured, with fine tannins and a velvety texture.
