Tasting note
This pure red wine made from Corinto Nero grapes from the small volcanic island of Lipari is a true rarity. Corinto Nero is originally from Greece (Korinthiaki) and is only grown in very small quantities in Italy exclusively on Lipari. The bouquet reveals an intense aroma of ripe, red fruit, pepper and licorice. Dense, harmonious on the palate, with fine tannins and smoky minerality of the volcanic soil.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with sumptuous fish dishes, red meat and medium-aged cheeses.
