Tasting note
Condrieu - Viognier the older the more fascinating. The Condrieu's from André Perret are exceptional white wines of great longevity, which actually still gain in expressiveness and diverse aromas with age of up to 10 years and more.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with scallops, fried fish with butter sauce, poultry with apricots or citrus notes, risotto with herbs, fresh goat cheese, Asian-inspired cuisine with coconut or curry or simply as a fine aperitif wine.
Vinification
Selective manual harvesting, gentle pressing, fermentation in stainless steel tanks and partly used barriques, aging on fine yeast over several months. The style always remains clear, varietal and terroir-focused — André Perret is one of the most renowned producers in the appellation.
