About the wine
The family winery was founded in 1940 and is now run by Carla Ferreira. Her daughter Rita Marques, who learned her craft from renowned winemakers in Bordeaux, California, South Africa and New Zealand, is responsible for wine production. It attaches great importance to nature-loving and sustainable production involving local farmers and produces soft, fresh wines that express its terroir.

Tasting note
Bright golden yellow, on the nose a fine bouquet of tobacco, yeast notes, pineapple, lemon and apple. Nice melt and balance on the palate with fresh acidity and aromatic finish.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Conceito Branco goes well with tapas dishes, vegetable soup and spaghetti Napoli. Our recommendation: Drink this white wine at a slightly chilled 6°-8°C temperature.
Vinification
With prephylloxera vines in a mix set. Fermented in used barriques and aged on the lees for ten months.
