Tasting note
In the glass, the Colore Rosso appears in an intense ruby red. On the nose, complex aromas of ripe red fruits, cherries, dark berries and dried flowers develop, accompanied by fine notes of spices and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, elegant and velvety, with ripe tannins and perfectly integrated acidity. The aftertaste is long and complex, with notes of wild berries, cedarwood and a touch of chocolate.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with lamb, beef, game dishes and aged cheese. Serve at 16-18°C to optimally complement the complex aromas and silky structure of the wine
Vinification
The grapes come from very old vines that are harvested by hand. The wine ages in French oak barrels for 24 months, giving it depth and complexity. The low yield and the winemaker's craftsmanship make for an exceptional wine.
