About the wine
To get a feel for the hilly and mountainous landscape beauty of Ticino, there is no way around this red wine, which the Swiss winery Luigi Zanini - Vinattieri masters with a keen sense of texture. With this provocative Merlot 2016 — Collivo Riserva, the term flavor takes on a new meaning. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Merlot with duck or poultry.

Tasting note
Bright ruby red color. The bouquet is fruity with notes of cherry, blackberry and raspberry, but also floral and with a touch of licorice. On the palate, the wine is fresh, mineral and spicy. The tannin is present but velvety.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with barbecues, antipasto, lasagna, charcuterie.
Vinification
Aging for 18 months, partly in 5000 liter wooden barrels and partly in barriques.
