Tasting note
Wonderfully fresh, intense bouquet with notes of honey, licorice, citrus fruits. Racy character, brilliantly defined, powerful. Rich body, exciting minerality, long-lasting aroma. Nicola Manferrari is considered one of Friuli's most talented winemakers and oenologists. He knows natural methods in viticulture like only a few. Right behind the Borgo, where he has set up a sparkling clean wine cellar, the steep slopes of Collio begin, which are probably among the best things to find in the region.

Die Vinifikation fand wie folgt statt: Nicola Manferrari gilt als einer der talentiertesten Winzer und Oenologen des Friaul. Auf naturnahe Methoden im Rebbau versteht er sich wie nur wenige. Gleich hinter dem Borgo, wo er einen blitzsauberen Weinkeller eingerichtet hat, beginnen die steilen Lagen des Collio, die wohl zum Besten gehören was in der Region zu finden ist.
