A must for connoisseurs, this fresh Tempranillo 2011 — Clunia Finca El Rincon! Wonderful and beautiful landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Clunia conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Tempranillo with lasagna or pizza.

Tasting note
Dense cherry red. On the nose, a variety of intense aromas from currants and nectarines, blackberries and cassis, to spicy nuances, cocoa, light roasted notes and cinnamon. Good concentration on the palate, soft tannins, long-lasting, pleasant, aromatic finish. An extremely complex and elegant wine!
Culinary recommendation
Unsere Empfehlung: Der Rotwein schmeckt am besten bei leicht gekühlten 18°-20°C. Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: Mind. 9 Jahre. Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Clunia Finca El Rincon harmoniert ideal mit Polenta, Pizza und Lasagne.
Vinification
48-hour maceration phase at 4°C, for optimal aroma extraction. Then fermentation phase of 21 days and biological acid degradation in barriques. 18-month aging in French oak barriques. Limited production of only approx. 2,500 bottles per year.
