About the wine
In the 12th century, the Abbey of Cîteaux planted the vineyard with white grape varieties. Today, it is planted with Pinot Noir and has a name that seems unusual at first glance. The name Clos Blanc refers to the color of the wine that was originally produced by the monks.

Tasting note
The nose shows fine aromas of red berries, cherries and a hint of violets. Elegant and powerful on the palate, with dense fruit, fine spiciness and a balanced tannin structure. The finish is long, silky and precise.

Perfect with duck dishes, fine veal, lamb loin or mushroom risotto.
