Clos Dubreuil St-Emilion AOC Cuvee Anna 2022 - Dubreuil

This is a heavenly bundle of fruit, from black cherries to blackberries to cassis, that is voluptuously ripe fruit. Seductive terroir aromas add complexity and depth, taming the fruit gives the fragrance its elegant appearance. Is that supposed to be a second wine? I can't believe it, it's the scent of a really big, elegant Bordeaux. What a start on the palate, lots of good, sweet flesh is supported by racy freshness and an immense but completely silky tannin mass. With all its strength, the wine maintains its wonderfully slim figure. There is wasteful diversity, tremendous intensity, vibrating mineral tension, I'm blown away. I can't rate a second wine with 20 points... But anything else would be an insult to this emotionally moving wine monument. I don't know how long this beguiling fruiting phase will last and whether the wine will eventually close for a certain period of time. My recommendation: You should definitely try it now (June 2025)! This is a young wine experience that I too have rarely experienced in this perfection.
