About the wine
This Cabernet Sauvignon draws its strength and energy from the gravelly soils north and east of Gironde and Dordogne. The winemaker from the French winery Dubreuil transforms it into a real treat with great sensitivity. With the strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 — Clos Dubreuil Grand Cru St-Emilion AOC, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Cabernet Sauvignon can be served very well with pizza with mushrooms or Gruyère burgers.
Tasting note
Presented in a deep, almost black ruby red. On the nose, an intense bouquet of dark fruits such as plum, cassis and black cherries unfolds, accompanied by elegant notes of violets and slightly smoky notes. The palate is full-bodied with velvety tannins, which perfectly support the fruity and slightly spicy aromas. The texture is round and harmonious, while a fresh acidity perfectly balances the strength of the wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef tenderloin, lamb chops, duck breast and aged cheese.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 18 to 24 months.
