Tasting note
Bright ruby red with garnet tones. The complex, multi-faceted bouquet opens with increasing contact with air. The focus is on notes of ripe fruit, fine licorice and subtle wood aromas. Compact, densely woven on the palate, on present but well-dosed tannin. Powerful but without sacrificing elegance, long-lasting aftertaste and aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with braised meat, game dishes, aged hard cheese or simply as a meditation wine for special occasions.
Vinification
The maceration in a wooden tub takes 30 days. 500 l tonneaux are used for ageing and the maturing phase takes 36 months.
