About the wine
Cigales is one of the smallest DOs in Spain and has so far been known primarily for its excellent rosé wines. However, the people behind the Bodegas Museum are convinced that the DO still has many “hidden treasures” when it comes to red wine.

Tasting note
Deep cherry-red robe with purple reflections. Delicate notes of red berries, black currants and cranberries on the nose, followed by hints of licorice, ginger, spice and roasted aromas and a pleasant minerality. On the palate, a delicate and elegant start, round and velvety with creamy tannins. Full-bodied, expressive and long-lasting aftertaste with notes of roasted hazelnuts, accompanied by mineral notes and exotic wood.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meats, grilled meats, roasts, game and aged cheese.
Vinification
14 months in French oak barrels, then 12 months in bottle.
