Tasting note
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. In the bouquet, it initially shows a certain restraint, but soon it develops aromas of white stone fruit, citrus fruits, vanilla, wood and smoke. On the palate, this wine is extremely lively, creamy, round and warm. It is characterized by well-balanced acidity, a solid body and a fruity and long-lasting finish, accompanied by a touch of smoke. A wine of great finesse and elegance. This wine has promising potential for aging. The Chardonnay Rosenberg from Krauthaker is made from Chardonnay grapes from the Rosenberg single vineyard near Kutjevo. This wine is the result of careful vinification, in which the grapes are aged both in oak barrels (barriques) and in stainless steel tanks. This approach gives the wine an impressive level of complexity while maintaining its freshness and fruitiness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lobster, crawfish, grilled fish or white meat.
Vinification
Only the best grapes are used for the showpiece white wine from the Krauthaker winery. After harvesting by hand and gently pressing, the must is fermented in large wooden barrels. The young wine is then aged in barriques for six to eight months.
