About the wine
The wine was released in 1992 under the name Chiarandà del Merlo, derived from the names of the two vineyards where the Ansonica and Chardonnay grape varieties were grown. Ten years later, the name was simplified to Chiarandà and the label was decorated with a female figure, suggesting complexity and refinement.

Tasting note
The Chiarandà is straw yellow in color. Its bouquet is complex, with notes of fresh tropical fruits, meadow herbs and roasted hazelnuts. On the palate, it is extensive and has good structure and is characterized by a fresh and spicy mineral note. A complex white wine with a long and satisfying persistence and great storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with seafood, grilled fish, fresh salads or light pasta dishes.
Vinification
8 months on the yeasts, partly in French oak (65% in first and second oak barrels) and partly in small cement tanks (35%).
