About the wine
Castello del Trebbio is just 15 km from Florence and has 54 hectares of vineyards. The current owners, the Baj Macario family, bought and renovated the castle in 1968. Anna Baj Macario, the owner of the castle, takes care of olive oil production and her husband, Stefano Casadei, takes care of the wine production.

Tasting note
Brilliant garnet red. On the nose, fine aromas of red fresh berries and fresh herbs. Pleasant soft tannins. Fruity, light aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta of any kind, with calzones, risotto and hearty meat dishes and barbecues. Wonderful with a ripe pecorino.
