About the wine

The world-famous Terrabianca, in the heart of Tuscany, is led into a new era by the Adriana and Urs Burkard family, with Italian and Swiss roots. The winery is one of the most popular and probably also well-known wineries in the region. The success story began with Roberto and Maya Guldener, who launched the courageous project in Radda in Chianti in 1988. The winery had quickly reached a world-class level. The picturesque Arillo in Terrabianca is surrounded by 12 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and forest. Another 36 hectares planted with Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon lie in Maremma near Massa Marittima. Adriana and Urs, with their passion and uncompromising quality thinking combined with unique vines in their prime age, guarantee the highest quality and a promise for surprising new projects.
