About the wine
The fertile and blooming Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Castello di Gabbiano conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. This snappy Sangiovese 2017 — Chianti Gabbiano DOCG crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Tasting note
Floral aromas of wild rose, fruity marasca jam, spicy pink pepper and mace. On the palate, it is dry and well-structured, both spicy and fresh, with lively tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with pasta with mushroom sauce, aromatic white meat, roast lamb or semi-aged cheese.
Vinification
Expansion in steel tanks. The wine ages briefly, without oak, before being bottled to preserve the wonderfully fresh aromas, flavors and textures of the grapes. This is a young, easy-to-enjoy wine that should be drunk within the first two years of life.
