Chianti, which was traditionally grown around San Gimignano, was forgotten for a long time. Perhaps rightly so. In any case, the red varieties were literally supplanted by the successful Vernaccia di San Gimignano. Today, with more modern farming methods, and also with a consumer trend that is increasingly moving towards lighter wines, the Chianti from Mormoraia hits the mark: fresh, aromas with berry notes, cheerful, pleasantly soft on the palate, elegant.
