Tasting note
Dark ruby red. On the nose, complex aromas of red fruits, dried cherries, tobacco and fine spices, accompanied by a touch of oak wood. Powerful and well-structured on the palate, with balanced tannins, lively acidity and a long, elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, game, aged pecorino, lamb
Vinification
Traditional maceration, aging in barriques and large French oak barrels for around 18 months.
