About the wine
Volpaia is a small Tuscan village dedicated entirely to winegrowing. The medieval fortress is used today to press, bottles are stored in the vaults of the churches and there is a tank of organic wine in the cellar of almost every house.

Tasting note
A ruby red wine with a hint of garnet, balanced, light and fruity, soft, harmonious and well-structured. Dried fruit, currant and cherry are just as much a part of the bouquet as anise and other spicy notes as well as beautiful roasted aromas of cocoa and toast bread. It is fresh on the palate and has beautiful earthy attributes to the fruit, spice and roasted aromas.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with meat, beef with dark sauces, grilled or fried, veal with dark sauces
