About the wine
The San Fabiano Calcinaia winery is located in the middle of Tuscany on the Chianti hills. It covers 165 hectares in Poggibonsi and Castellina in Chianti. Guido and Isa Serio have owned the business since 1983 and are committed to producing authentic, top-class wines. In 2009, they began to switch to organic production.

Tasting note
Das hervorstechende Bouquet des Chianti Classico DOCG von schwarzem Pfeffer, Gewürzen und Tabak spielt virtuos mit Ihrem Geruchssinn. Danach überzeugen erfrischende Nuancen von roter Pflaume, Erdbeere und Feige resolut und bewusst Ihre Geschmackssinne. Kräftiger Körper und hervorstechende Säure ergeben den Rotwein, welcher kräftig mit dominanten Gerbstoffen im Mund viel Charakter und Klasse zeigt.
Culinary recommendation
Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Chianti Classico DOCG harmoniert ausgezeichnet mit Rindfleisch, Pasta und Pizza.
Vinification
Aged for 12 months in barriques.
