Tasting note
Ruby red with purple reflections. Clear, straightforward, unobtrusive and yet full of character; that's what Sangiovese must be like. Fresh berry aromas, a light, well-integrated spice, sour cherries. Juicy, elegant on the palate, again a lot of fresh aroma. Of pleasant lightness, very accessible and inspiring. Long aftertaste characterized by fruit and typical Sangiovese acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with olive oil, garlic and pepperoncino.
Vinification
The grapes for this wine come from the vineyards in Ruffoli, in the municipality of Grave. The harvest takes place in the first half of October. The wine is fermented and aged for ten months in classic delivery containers. Before the wine is sold, it ages in the bottle in the winery's cellar for another three months.
