About the wine
This outstanding Sangiovese 2016 — Chianti Classico DOCG is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The winemaker from the Italian winery Folonari absolutely masters his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originated in the fertile and flourishing Tuscan countryside. The Flaschenpöstler promise a dining experience when you serve this Sangiovese with pasta or lamb.
Tasting note
Aromas of ripe cherries, red berries and violets, accompanied by delicate spicy notes and a touch of leather. Fresh and balanced on the palate, with lively acidity, supple tannins and a harmonious finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with ragù, grilled meat or pecorino toscano.
Vinification
Traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in large wooden barrels.
