About the wine
Volpaia is a small Tuscan village dedicated entirely to winegrowing. The medieval fortress is used today to press, bottles are stored in the vaults of the churches and there is a tank of organic wine in the cellar of almost every house.

Tasting note
Balanced, sustainable and yet light: This garnet red wine impresses with variety and quite strong aromas of sour cherry, somewhat leathery aspects and spices such as nutmeg and pepper. On the palate, earthy aspects complement the aroma; the wine impresses with its harmonious, soft structure and juicy tannins.
