About the wine
The Gagliole winery is a paradise of vines, roses and dry stone walls. For the Swiss couple Monika and Thomas Bär-Bettschart, it was love at first sight. As a result, the holiday home became a family project that three generations are working on today.
Tasting note
Bright ruby with a brilliant core. Open-floral nose of violets and geraniums, delicate plum and cherry. Juicy palate with compact cranberry fruit, stretches beautifully, drinks delicately and without frills.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with tomato sauce, grilled meat, game dishes and medium-aged cheese.
