Tasting note
On the nose, aromas of ripe, sweet fruit and a slight oak note. Full-bodied on the palate with a well-balanced taste. A wine with excellent shelf life.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with traditional Italian dishes such as bistecca alla fiorentina, lamb chops, braised beef or game ragout. It also develops its full potential with pasta with hearty meat sauces, aged pecorino or antipasti with air-dried ham and olives.

6 months in small oak barrels and a further 9 months in large wooden barrels
