Tasting note
Cheval des Andes's playful fragrance spectrum of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows aromatic complexity and lots of finesse. The dominant nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper create their individual texture. Strong body and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows plenty of character and class.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler tip: Cheval des Andes is ideal with red meat, Gruyère burgers and pizza with mushrooms. Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 14°-16°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2011-2019.
