Tasting note
This Chenin Blanc shines in a bright golden yellow. On the nose, a mix of aromas of citrus and tropical fruits paired with floral notes and spicy accents delights. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with lots of tropical fruit, a fine spiciness, remarkable freshness and a mineral-salty finish. A complex, lively and expressive Chenin Blanc with a long-lasting finish.

Goes well with fish and seafood, light meat dishes, vegetarian dishes.
Vinification
Chenin Blanc comes from old bush vines that take root 250 meters above sea level on the granite-rich soils of Paardeberg in Swartland. The climate is hot and dry and benefits from cooling Atlantic breezes. After manual harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at cool temperatures. 70% of the 13-month aging takes place in concrete eggs and 30% in stainless steel tanks. Exactly 6392 bottles were produced from the first vintage of 2023.
