Tasting note
Deep purple, complex aromas with cassis, plum, cinnamon and cherry. The body is broad-shouldered with lots of extract. The wine is wonderfully nuanced in scent, taste and finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb chops with rosemary, duck breast, braised game or aged Comté.
Vinification
In a concrete container (grenache is susceptible to oxidation) at a maximum of 32° for 2-3 weeks. Half in tanks and in wooden barrels for 12-15 months.
