About the wine
Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of France's great red wines. It is an independent appellation in the Rhône wine-growing region. The growing area consists of gravel terraces whose origins date back to the ice age. Large pebbles mixed with red, sandy clay are typical, which transfer the heat stored during the day to the vines at night.

Tasting note
Dark red, almost black, with black berries, cinnamon and spices on the nose. Very structured, long and elegant on the palate. Notes of roasted coffee, chocolate and toast.
