Tasting note
Deep ruby red in the glass, with aromas of blackcurrants, herbs, leather and spices. Powerful and full-bodied on the palate, with ripe tannins and notes of dark fruits, tobacco and chocolate. Long, complex aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game, lamb and aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and each grape variety is vinified separately. The wine is then aged in large oak barrels, which gives it depth and complexity.
