Ripe, very expressive, with notes of red (sour cherry) and black (cassis) fruits and spices (cinnamon), framed by fine, elegant precious wood notes. Clear, powerful start that merges into a rich, round structure. Dark garnet red.

Goes well with charcuterie, meat and game terrines, Périgord salad, pasta, vegetable gratins, braised red meat, grilled meat, game feathers.
Vinification
Ageing in French barriques (25-30% new) for approx. 12 months
