About the wine
In the dreamy hamlet of Donissan northeast of the municipality of Listrac-Médoc, the Thomas winemaker family grows convincing wines on 18 hectares. Château Reverdi does not impress with a magnificent castle façade, but with inspiring results from the vineyard and cellar. Favoured by the favourable geographical location, rich, subtle wines are produced here, which have become a real secret tip thanks to their optimal price-performance ratio and are celebrated by the international trade press.

Tasting note
A balanced, rich, sustainable and fruity red wine. Black-red with light brownish reflections. Medium-bodied, fairly complex bouquet. Lots of soft fruits (blackberry, gooseberry, cassis), plus stone fruit (plum, plum) and dried fruit (dried plum, raisin). The degu team members also note spices (licorice), roasted aromas (cocoa/chocolate, smoke) and slightly earthy attributes (soil, undergrowth). Dry on the palate. The tannins are still slightly present, but overall they are quite soft, full-bodied and harmonious. In the back smell, the aromas mentioned are complemented by light vegetable notes and some peppery spice. Medium-long finish.
