Tasting note
The Château Puyfromage blush is deep garnet red. On the nose, fresh fruity aromas of cherry and raspberry with sweet-spicy accents and a hint of vanilla inspire. On the palate, the wine is dense and strong with aromas of dark berries, velvety tannins and a spicy and smooth finish. A great everyday Bordeaux.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meats, stews and cheese.
Vinification
The Puyfromage vines are on average 30 years old and are rooted on the extension of the Saint-Emilion limestone plateau. They are cared for according to organic guidelines. After manual harvesting and further sorting of the grapes at the winery, the grape varieties are fermented separately in temperature-controlled steel tanks and aged for 18 months before being blended.
