Tasting note
An elegant and complex Grand Cru Classé from Pessac-Léognan, which impresses with finesse and expressiveness despite a challenging vintage. The 2017 vintage shows aromas of blackcurrants, plums and raspberries on the nose, accompanied by notes of cedarwood, graphite and fine spices. On the palate, the wine is harmonious with silky tannins, fresh acidity and a mineral-rich, long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with rack of lamb, duck breast, game dishes and aged hard cheese.
