About the wine
In 1573, feudal lord Antoine von Erlach and his brother Borckhardt had the Maison Blanche built outside the village of Yvorne. A devastating rock slide in 1584 caused many locals to flee to escape poverty. In 1609, the Maison Blanche was rebuilt, with reinforced walls and a new roof. For over 400 years, Château Maison Blanche has been the symbol of the Yvorne vineyards, for its beauty, its eventful history and its magic.

Tasting note
Color: golden yellow; bouquet: aromas of stone fruit and linden flowers, mineral notes. With age, hints of honey, peach and quince are added.; Palate: Strong, racy, typical flint terroir. The oiliness and strength make it an admirable and complex wine.
Culinary recommendation
As an aperitif, with grilled fish and sauce, with spiced white meat, with cheese specialties such as fondue and raclette, but also fantastic with perch fillets, vegetable terrines, sushi and cheese casseroles.
