About the wine
Overlooking the Gironde estuary, the Château Loumelat is ideally located. The vineyards are grown on the slopes and benefit from a privileged location, which makes it possible to create wines of rare finesse. The estate's soils are located 10 km northeast of the historic town of Blaye.

Tasting note
Deep color with garnet red robe. Intense fruit nose with a predominance of black currants and blackberries. Notes of roasted aromas and vanilla, which come from ageing in barriques. Clear and honest start, nice balance between roundness and tannin structure. Complex palate and long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pork knuckles.
